«Горячие» деньги
Капиталы, стихийно перемещающиеся из страны в страну. Потоки краткосрочных денежных средств связаны с валютными спекулятивными операциями, которые проводятся в надежде получить прибыль от повышения или понижения валютных курсов (см. Speculation), а также за счет разницы в процентных ставках, устанавливаемых в основных финансовых центрах (см. Arbitrage). Наплыв спекулятивных «горячих» денег будоражит валютные рынки, отрицательно сказывается на процессе уравновешивания платежных балансов.
